Dubai Will Have BTS' V Featured On Its Tallest Building On His Birthday

Kim Tae-hyung of BTS, or more popularly known as V, will get the support of his Chinese fans as they sponsor his birthday ad to appear on Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.  

V is celebrating his 25th birthday on December 30th, and as a gift from the Chinese ARMY, the name of the K-Pop group's fanbase, he will appear on Burj Khalifa during his birthday. His Chinese fans reportedly raised $1 million for this project. 

The birthday ad features light-emitting diode-run visuals on the skyscraper, touted as one of the most expensive advertising billboards worldwide. 

The 828-meter landmark in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates will have the BTS singer's image with congratulatory messages that will last for three minutes, starting at midnight Korean time on December 29th. 

The Dubai Fountain, dubbed as the largest choreographed fountain in the world situated near the building, will likewise present a water show based on a solo song V wrote himself, "Winter Bear."

Meanwhile, V also has been recently named the most handsome face in the K-Pop industry in 2020. All BTS members got their place on the list. Jeon Jung-kook ranks at fourth, Jin places in the nineteenth place, Min Yoon-gi is 34th, Park Jimin is 43rd, Jung Ho-seok is at 55th, and Kim Nam-joon is at 65th. 

Other K-Pop celebrities are also on the list, including Cha Eun-woo of ASTRO, who is also portraying Lee Su-ho in "True Beauty," NCT lead artist Taeyong, TREASURE's Haruto, EXO's Xiumin, and so much more.

There are more achievements BTS is offering as the year 2020 ends. The K-Pop boy band is making history as the first foreign group to earn platinum certification for streaming from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). RIAJ specifically recognized "Dynamite" for earning 100 million streams in just three months.
