Warner Bros. Pictures on Wednesday released the official opening scene of the upcoming movie "Wonder Woman 1984," making the fans even more thrilled about the superhero film once it opens on December 25th.

"The path to greatness is not what you think. See young Diana in action in this exclusive first look at the opening scene of #WonderWoman1984," Warner Bros stated on its YouTube page.

On Christmas Day, "Wonder Woman 1984" is showing in theaters and exclusively on HBO Max to give viewers the option to see the anticipated movie at home, so they are safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is available on HBO Max in the United States only with no extra cost to those who will subscribe. The opening scene uses the track titled "Themyscira" by Hans Zimmer.

The recently released opening scene of "Wonder Woman 1984" starts with the young Princess Diana running through the lush green fields and trees toward the stadium where a big sporting event is happening at Themyscira.

The video spans approximately three minutes and showcases what viewers will actually see once the film releases in theaters and on television.

With the music of Hans Zimmer running in the background, the narrator, Wonder Woman herself, said, "Some days, my childhood feels so very far away. And others, I can almost see it. The magical land of my youth. Like a beautiful dream of when the whole world felt like a promise..."

The clip then transgresses to the huge event in the stadium where the planet's greatest athletes gather, playing their sports, riding horses, running across slopes, and with the crowd cheering at their every action.

The young Princess Diana is seemingly about to participate in the games, as she was told, "I've seen this contest, humble even the most seasoned warriors, Diana... And remember, greatness is not what you think."

"I can do it," the young Princess Diana answered.

Rumors also had it that the post-credit scene was also revealed.

Netizen Nick Lee posted on the YouTube comments section, "This opening scene already has heart to it just like the first WW did. Can't imagine what the whole movie will be like."
