EXO's Kai became emotional on Jung Eun Ji's Music Plaza

EXO's Kai recently appeared on the radio show Jung Eun Ji's Music Plaza as he promotes his solo debut and talks about a fan letter that brought him to tears.

 Jung Eun Ji of Apink mentioned that Kai cried in a recent V Live broadcast after reading a fan letter. Kai held a V Live broadcast to celebrate his solo debut with Mmmh. 

Remeniscing memories

As per the fan letter, Kai shared that he spent a long time with his fans. He built up many memories with them, and fans wrote about their memories of their time together.  He continued that when he read about that letter, all the memories came back. 

The letter made Kai emotional because his fans have been on his side since he was a rookie eight years ago until now. Moreover, Kai shared his interest in fashion. He chose clothes with a stylist for the promotions he is doing.

Visualizations of the songs

On top of his music video, he made something called Film: Kai. The video is a project where it visualizes his six songs in a video. He explained that he wanted to give each of his songs a different vibe, so he wore extra clothes. 

Additionally, he wanted to portray the agony of the song Nothing on Me. in the video, he wore white clothes and rolled in the dirt because he wanted to show himself becoming dirty. He also the song Ride Or Die. For the song, Kai tried to portray himself dancing on stage as he wore a fedora. 

Between the difference in promoting with the group and as a solo artist, Kai felt lonely and empty when he is eating. In the group promotions, they can order different things and share them, but now he only orders one thing to eat.
