BTS, TXT, and SEVENTEEN are gearing up for a performance at Japan's CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special.
Recently, Big Hit Entertainment confirmed that the BTS is preparing for a performance with their hit song Dynamite at TBS's CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special. The agency's source stated that there would only be six members performing because Suga recently received his shoulder surgery.
Loaded with schedules
This month, the group SEVENTEEN also announced that they would perform at Japan's famous year-end music show. They will be performing for the 2020 FNS Music Festival this December 9, and they will be performing on CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special this December 21.
At the upcoming special show, SEVENTEEN will be showcasing their second Japanese mini-album title track, 24H.
All performances will be recorded
Also, TXT will perform the Japanese version of their Blue Hour for the first time at the Christmas Special. However, due to the threat of COVID-19, the agency will record the performances in South Korea.
Recently, TXT broke their record on Billboard 200 with their new album, minisode1: Blue Hour. The album also topped Oricon's daily and weekly album charts that were released in Japan.
Success layed of their hands
SEVENTEEN is enjoying a great deal of success in Japan this year. The single of the SEVENTEEN Fallin' Flower bagged double platinum in May and broke records in Oricon's chart. With their latest Japanese mini-album, the group recently because the first male foreign artist to have four consecutive albums debut at No. 1 spot on Oricon's weekly album chart.
BTS made record-breaking history with their album BE, which debuted No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart. Also, their title track, Life Goes On, debuted No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100. This makes BTS the artists besides Taylor Swift to debut a song and an album No. 1 on both charts in the same week.
