Taylor Swift Surprises Fans With 'Folklore' Concert Film

Taylor Swift continues to shell out more surprises for her fans. After dropping a surprise album "Folklore" on July 24 of this year, she has more in store for Swifties all over the world. 

The artist herself announced on her Twitter account that she will be releasing "folklore: the long pond studio sessions". The concert film will feature Taylor singing all 17 songs in the album. Not only that, but she is also set to share stories about the process of making the songs and her inspirations for writing them. She will be joined by Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, who helped her write and produce all the songs in the album. Justin Vernon, more popularly known as Bon iver, also made the trip to Dessner's Long Pond Studio to sing "Exile" with Swift. The film itself was actually directed by Swift. It was filmed in September of this year. 

In the trailer for the concert film, Taylor talked about how the album was a product of isolation. She admitted that the situation brought about by the pandemic could have done a number on her mental health, but writing the album has helped her adjust. 

"folklore: the long pond studio sessions" will be released on November 25 exclusively through Disney +, as reported by CNN. 

Meanwhile, Taylor continues to reap awards for her work on the album. In the recently concluded American Music Awards, the artist won three awards, namely Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Female Artist - Pop/Rock. She is now the artist with the most American Music Awards since the show began in 1973. 

She has also received six nominations for the upcoming 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year for "Cardigan", Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her song "Exile" performed with Bon Iver.
