"For the first time in her career, Miranda is slowing and prioritizing her desire to start a family. She's never given up music or anything like that, but with Brendan now retired from the police force, the timing couldn't be more perfect," an unnamed insider told the magazine. It even revealed that the "Over You" hitmaker has been practicing being a mom to Brendan's 2-year-old son, Landon, whom the former police officer shares with New York-based lawyer Kaila Rettinger.

"Becoming a stepmother has been a life-changing experience for Miranda," the tipster stated to the magazine. "She's absolutely obsessed with Landon and would love nothing more than to give him a sibling, hopefully a little sister," it went on.
