The coronavirus pandemic continues to affect many shows and productions in South Korea, and the latest to fall victim is "Snowdrop", the upcoming television series which stars BLACKPINK's Jisoo.

According to allkpop, the production for the series stopped filming as of November 23 after one of the crew tested positive for COVID-19. One of the supporting actors, who was not named, was reported to have had contact with another case from another drama. The actor quickly told the people from "Snowdrop" and it seems that testing was done on everyone who had close contact with him. It was not yet reported when the filming will resume.

"Snowdrop" also features actors Jung Hae In, Kim Hye Yoon, and Yoon Se Ah in the lineup. It's a love story set in 1982 in a university and is set to be released in 2021.

It is not the first time that filming had to be halted in South Korea after a crew member has tested positive for the disease. Other shows that were impacted include "Running Man", "Master in the House", and more.

Meanwhile, fans of Jisoo have been worried about her after learning of the news. They are sending encouraging messages to the singer and she even trended on several countries.
