12 People Who Got Cheated On The 'Produce 101' Series

The 12 trainees who were impacted by the vote manipulation of the "Produce 101" series has now been revealed by the Seoul High Court. 

The said trial on November 18 was actually a trial of appeals and the result is that the prison sentences against Ahn Joon-young and Kim Yong-bum were upheld by the court. The former is sentenced to two years imprisonment while the latter received one year and eight months. According to Soompi, five more people have also received eight months of prison sentence, suspended for two years. All of them have been accused of manipulating the results of voting in the "Produce" series. 

The court has revealed the people who were victims of the scheme, stating that "...it is a starting point towards them receiving true compensation for damages". The trainees are Kim Suhyun and Seo Hyelin from "Produce 101", Seong Hyun Woo and Baekho from "Produce 101 Season 2", Lee Gae-eun and Han Chowon from "Produce 48", and Timothee Anzardi, Kim Kookheon, Lee Jinwoo, Koo Jungmo, Lee Jinhyuk, and Keum Donghyun from "Produce X 101". The court has decided not to release the names of those who benefited from the widespread manipulation, as the trainees are not aware of the situation. 

Meanwhile, Mnet has stated that IZ*ONE will continue with their album release on December 7.
