A former fan of Hyeme from the newly formed girl group Blackswan is suing the idol for fraud. The complaint was filed on October 26 after Hyeme refused to return the money that she apparently owes the fan. According to reports, the money she owed amounted to 50 million won or almost $45,000 dollars.

According to the reports, the two became acquainted in 2018 through messaging each other on Instagram. After talking online for a time, they eventually began to meet as well. By April 2019, the unidentified man claimed that the idol had asked to borrow the money, which apparently is equal to a year's worth of living expenses. But when he asked for the money to be repaid, she allegedly cut off all contact and could not be reached.

Hyeme used to be a member of the group BP Rania and when sthe group became rebranded as Black Swan she became part of it as well. But DR Music has claimed that her contract with their company has ended and that she will not resign. She will leave the group after they are done promoting their song "Tonight." The now-former idol has yet to make a statement regarding the allegations and she has set her SNS account to private.
