JYP Confirms Breakup Of Twice's Jihyo and Kang Daniel

A little over a year since they went public with their relationship, Kpop stars Kang Daniel and Twice's Jihyo have officially broken up. The report first came from Dispatch, who stated that the two have decided to end their relationship because they were too busy to see each other. 

Both artists have been busy preparing for their releases. Kang Daniel went on to become a solo artist after finishing his activities with Wanna One. He also established his own agency, Konnect Entertainment, after asking the court to suspend his contract with LM Entertainment. This year, he not only released a reality TV show but also his second and third EP, titled "Cyan" and "Magenta". 

Jihyo, meanwhile, as a member of the girl group TWICE, released not only their EP "More & More" this June, but also their second Korean studio album "Eyes Wide Open" which they are currently promoting this month. Jihyo is also expected to participate in the new track for K/DA, the virtual girl group composed of characters from the League of Legends game. She will be joined by other TWICE members Sana, Nayeon, and Chaeyoung. They will be joined by other artists such as Annika Wells and Bekuh Boom.
