Wanna One Is Reportedly In Discussions To Perform Together at MAMA 2020

Wannables rejoice! Although there are no confirmations yet, it looks like there will be a special stage for Wanna One on MAMA 2020. The proposal comes from CJ e&M, who is responsible for the formation of the 11-member boy group through the second season of their survival show "Produce 101."

The group was active from 2017 -2019, with their last concert held in January 2019 at Gocheok Sky Dome, where they also had their debut showcase. The project group gained acclaim not just in South Korea but all over the world as well. They also garnered several awards during their short stint together. 

After their contract ended, the members went on to do their own thing. Some went back to their old groups or became part of new ones, like in the case of Hwang Min Hyun who returned to his activities with Nu'est and with Lee Dae Hwi, who is now part of AB6IX. Others established their solo careers and even tried to do acting. 

This October, five members of the project group, namely Jihoon, Woojin, Daehwi, Sungwoon, and Jaehwan had a reunion during the KCON: TACT 2020 where they sang two songs together. This is what sparked the idea for a special state in this year's' MAMA awards.
