Kids in Quarantine Can Now Enjoy 'Harry Potter At Home,' Free Online Resource Hub

J.K. Rowling, author of the "Harry Potter" series launched an online resource hub for children, parents, educators, and more to enjoy during the quarantine period. 

Stay at Home orders, due to the global outbreak of Coronavirus has forced everyone indoors. The "Harry Potter At Home" resource hub opens up various entertainment and educational resources for young fans. 

"Parents, teachers and carers working to keep children amused and interested while we're on lockdown might need a bit of magic," Rowling said when she announced the launch. 

The website's organizes added:

"During the strange times we now find ourselves in, we want to welcome you back to Hogwarts, where you will find a friendly retreat for you, your family and those you are caring for."

The hub offers free access to the audio book of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," the U.S. title of the first installment of the series. The version with the voice narration by Stephen Fry had been difficult to access previously in the U.S. The audio book is also accessible in other languages including Spanish, French, Japanese, German, and Italian. 

The hub also features many quizzes, puzzles, and videos that children can watch.
