BTS Confirms 'Map of the Soul' Tour Postponed, North America Dates Delayed Due to COVID-19

BTS officially confirmed that their North America dates for the 2020 "Map of the Soul" world tour will be rescheduled. The statement was issued by their label, Big Hit Entertainment, on March 26. 

"We would like to inform you that there will be some adjustments to the upcoming BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR- NORTH AMERICA schedule in order to make sure that we put the safety of everyone involved first and foremost," the statement read. 

BTS and Big Hit Entertainment have been announcing changes to the world tour since the outbreak of COVID-19. Their tour dates in Seoul were also cancelled. 

BTS "Map of the Soul" world tour was expected to begin next month in the San Francisco Bay Area and conclude in September in Tokyo, with stops in Europe in between. The North America leg was to begin on April 25 and go until June 6. The new dates are currently "TBA."
