According to data released by Korean Sales @koreansales_twt, BTS topped the chart for best selling artist in Korea in 2019. BTS takes the top position by a huge margin, and is followed by Seventeen and TWICE for the second and third spots, respectively.

The data, that counts physical sales from Gaon, Oricon, and Miak, reported that BTS earned over 6 million sales, Seventeen ranked second with 1.4 million sales, and TWICE with 1.1 million sales.

The report from Korean Sales also organized the best selling boy groups and girl groups. GOT7 and EXO ranked third and fourth, respectively, after BTS and Seventeen.

BLACKPINK came in second for girl groups and Red Velvet came in third, after TWICE.

It was a great year for BTS and there are few records they have yet to break. Fans are looking forward to an even greater 2020.
