TWICE is taking their fans' viewing experience to the next level: the silver screen. The female Korean band has announced their plans to create a TWICELAND movie.

Apparently, the flick will chronicle the ladies' ongoing TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park world tour. It will also feature some behind-the-scenes footages from the group's concerts in abroad and more.

TWICE member Jeongyeon said the movie will give a chance to their fans who failed to watch their concerts to see their performances. Sana, on the other hand, teased that the movie will also feature their other traits that Once (TWICE's fandom name)  members haven't seen before.

According to Soompi, the TWICELAND movie will be released in a ScreenX format. It is a new three-screen format that was developed in Korea. It provides a 270-degree viewing experience for the audience. JYP Entertainment has yet to announce a premiere date for the TWICELAND movie.

The "What Is Love?" singers began their second world tour, TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park, in Seoul in May. They have so far performed for their fans in Korea, Japan, and Singapore. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu will also meet their fans in Thailand and Indonesia this month before heading to Japan for their first arena tour in the country in September.  The girls will perform for nine nights in four major cities in Japan.

The Japan tour is titled BDZ which is short for "bulldozer." It is also the title of the group's first Japanese studio full-length album. The LP is set to be released on September 12 in time for their Japan tour.

Meanwhile, TWICE has also smashed the record set by fellow K-pop female group Girls' Generation on Korea's Gaon Chart. Latest data from Gaon revealed that the nine albums of TWICE have so far sold a total of 2.6 million copies. It surpassed the record held by Girls' Generation which was nearly 2.4 million copies. This makes TWICE the leading K-pop girl group with the most albums sold.

Gaon is the largest music chart in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and backed by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. It lists domestic artists' album or song sales as well as international (non-Korean) artists' sales in the country.
