New K-Drama Series For July 2018

The month of July brings forth a list of K-dramas that will once again touch the hearts of millions of viewers across the world. Both veteran actors and newbies are set to make our TV screens more interesting than ever, with actors Lee Dong Wook and Lee Byung Hun front lining the scene. Here are the top Korean dramas making their debut next month.

Life

The Grim Reaper in the hit K-drama series Goblin, Lee Dong Wook, is set to play as a specialist at an emergency medical center in the medical drama Life. The upcoming K-drama revolves around the lives of professionals in the healthcare industry.

Life marks the continuous partnership of Cho Seung Woo and Lee So Yeon who worked together previously in the legal drama Stranger. Fans are now anticipating whether the power duo can mimic or surpass the hit legal drama's reception last year. Life begins on July 23 via jTBC at 11 pm KST (10 am EST).

Mr. Sunshine

Creators of Descendants of the Sun and Goblin will once again work together for the period drama Mr. Sunshine. The new series has garnered quite the attention already even before airing, with Netflix acquiring the license to stream the 24-episode original K-drama.

Mr. Sunshine stars veteran actor Lee Byung Hun, who will play the role of an American soldier with Korean roots. The historical drama will also feature Kim Tae Ri, Byun Yo Han, Kim Min Jung, and Yoo Yeon Seok. Mr. Sunshine begins on July 7 via TVN at 9 pm KST (8 am EST).

Your Househelper

In Your Househelper, Ha Suk Jin takes on the role of a male housekeeper. Fans of the actor will see him run common household chores such as shopping for groceries, laundry, cooking, child care, and many others. His attractive features and good work ethic helps him acquire clients, along with a fun narration about why he chose a profession commonly taken by women.

A fun fact about the upcoming K-drama is that it's actually an adaptation of webtoon of the same name. Your Househelper begins on July 4 via KBS2 at 9:55 pm KST (8:55 am EST).
