BTS recently achieved several Billboard milestones with the release of the group's latest album Love Yourself: Tear. The boy band became the first Kpop group to land on the Billboard Artist 100 Chart, while the band's latest single Fake Love nabbed the tenth spot on Billboard's Hot 100's Top 10 list.

The seven-member South Korean group jumped to the highest spot on the Artist 100 list in Billboard's latest chart covering the week of June 2. BTS rose three places from the group's previous week ranking of number four. The band's recent chart ranking made BTS the first Kpop group to top the Artist 100 chart, according to Billboard.

BTS' latest album Love Yourself: Tear also became the first K-pop album that debuted at the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart, according to Forbes. The said album sold 135,000 units during its first week on the market. Of the 135,000 units sold, 100,000 came from actual album sales while the remaining amount came from digital downloads.

Apart from being hailed as the first Kpop group to top the Billboard Artist 100 chart, BTS also became the second South Korean act whose songs entered the Hot 100's Top 10 list. For the week period of June 2, the boyband's hit single "Fake Love" landed the tenth spot on the said chart.

Prior to BTS, Psy was the only K-pop artist who managed to break through the Billboard Hot 100's Top 10 list. The South Korean rapper's global hit "Gangnam Style," as well as the singer's 2013 track "Gentleman" both charted on the said list with peak positions of second and fifth place, respectively.

However, BTS surpassed Psy's Billboard 100's Top 10 record with "Fake Love." Previously, Psy's "Gentleman" debuted at number 12 on the said list when it was released in 2013, while the seven-member Kpop group's latest single nabbed the tenth spot during its release.

Meanwhile, BTS also dominated South Korea's music scene with the band's latest single, as cited by Soompi. "Fake Love" swept through several of Gaon's lists with the said tune landing the top spot on the digital chart, streaming chart, download chart, as well as the mobile chart for ringtones.

BTS released its third album Love Yourself: Tear with the title track "Fake Love" on May 18.
