The growing popularity of BTS catapulted them to stardom and instantly made Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook heartthrobs. Men want to be them, and women and the LGBT community want to be with them. So when Suga admitted that he supports the LGBT community, fans love him even more.

The LGBT community is slowly being accepted by people all around the world. Although the South Korean entertainment world is known for being much more conservative than Hollywood, some K-celebrities have shown their support for LGBT rights, including BTS’s Suga.

When asked in a recent interview with Billboard about the LGBT community, Suga said, “There is nothing wrong. Everyone is equal.”

The 25-year-old South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer’s response also revealed his open-mindedness during an interview with Japanese magazine Oricon Style. Suga noted that he's is not attracted to someone solely for their looks.

“I focus on personality and atmosphere,” BTS’s Suga said at the time. “I don’t have an ideal type, and it's not limited to physical appeal.”

Being a part of the biggest K-pop boy band right now, Suga's revelation serves a great example for their fans. The younger generation, unfortunately, believes that one should be incredibly beautiful to be noticed. With this mindset, it leads to a lot of self-hate, feeling that they're not pretty enough and not worthy enough. However, the BTS star is slowly changing that sad idea.

Fortunately, Suga confirms that even someone as popular as him is not into looks at all. The singer proves that he is definitely not shallow and revealed that there are still men who believe that there is more than meets the eye. This goes to show that the BTS boys really practice what they preach when they released "Love Yourself."
