Some anime fans were shocked when an accusation of tracing was thrown at the Dragon Ball Super illustrator. Toyotaro's illustrations in the Dragon Ball Super manga is now being questioned after one of his artwork was accused of being traced from a Marvel comic.

Dragon Ball Super's illustrator Toyotaro recently shared the line art he did of Goku for the latest issue of V-Jump Magazine. The artwork shows Goku fighting a Yu-Gi-Oh! protagonist.

Some fans immediately spotted the resemblance of Toyotaro's drawing to the Captain America comic. One avid comic fan also laid the two images on top of each other and pointed out the very close similarities of the two artworks. Another fan said the resemblance of the two illustrations is too close to call it a homage to the Marvel character. Check the illustrations below.

"Won't defend Toyotaro here. It'd be one thing if it were just a fun sketch, maybe as practice to help with more dynamic angles and stuff. But the fact that it was for a professional gig with V-Jump's cover is a no-no," another fan wrote on Twitter.

Comicbook reported that Toyotaro's original tweet where he shared the drawing has been deleted since, but some fans already captured the image. So far, Toyotaro or Dragon Ball Super have yet to issue an official statement about the controversy.

Meanwhile, a video game enthusiast on YouTube offers Goku fans something to look into to relieve their rage on the latest controversy involving the Dragon Ball Super illustrator. The Ultra Instinct Goku has been given a new look as he clashes with his enemies in a different world—the Minecraft.

YouTube user, named Dead Hunter CC, offered the fans of Minecraft and Dragon Ball Super a glimpse of Goku in the world of blocks. Dead Hunter CC used red, purple, and green blocks to recreate the Tournament of Power's arena for Goku. The Dragon Ball superhero himself looks perfect, too. Goku's blue shirt, torn orange pants, and grey-black hair were all made to perfection.

The mod also features enchantments that give the hero a silver aura that represents the Ki energy that is seen around Goku when he is in his Ultra Instinct Sign state. The silver luster can be seen whenever Goku moves as seen in the clip below.

The tutorial also showed Goku's abilities in the Minecraft mod including how he attacks his enemies and how he dodges their counter-attack. Goku may also fire the Ultra Instinct Kamehameha. The script of the Goku in Minecraft mod can be downloaded via MediaFire.
