FKA Twigs 2018: Robert Pattinson's Former Girlfriend Admitted She 'Felt Really Alone,' Letting Go Of The Pain After Laparoscopic Surgery

In a post on Instagram on Wednesday, May 9, FKA Twigs made an open letter revealing she underwent laparoscopic surgery that removed six tumors from her uterus. The operation happened in December 2017, a couple of months after she and Robert Pattinson ended their three-year relationship.

FKA Twigs started her lengthy note by revealing she had thoroughly thought of whether or not she would share the news with the public since she is known as a very private person. Robert Pattinson's ex-fiancée then went on to reveal she is currently recovering from laparoscopic surgery to remove six fibroid tumors from her uterus.

The 30-year-old star described her tumors to be "pretty huge" and likened it to the size of "two cooking apples, three kiwis, and a couple of strawberries." "A fruit bowl of pain every day," FKA Twigs admitted. Robert Pattinson's former girlfriend even said her nurse told her it was the weight and size of being like six months pregnant.

FKA Twigs is trying her best to be brave in spite of the excruciating pain she is sometimes feeling. This also makes her fear that her body would never feel the same way again. She even admitted that despite the family and friends' love she has been receiving, she revealed she "felt really alone." Does this have something to do with her breakup with Robert Pattinson? "My confidence as a woman was knocked," she added.

 
To recall, FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson called it quits after "drifting apart" in October last year. They were reportedly engaged since 2015, Hello Magazine reported. Although the former couple opted to keep mum about their romance, Kristen Stewart's ex-boyfriend said on Sirius XM's The Howard Stern Show they were "kind of engaged."

Meanwhile, in spite of what she is going through, FKA Twigs revealed she now felt like her "strong self again" after a long while. "It was magical," she said. She then gave all her gratitude to her "precious body for healing" and for reminding her to be kind to herself. Robert Pattinson's ex then addressed the women who are suffering from fibroid tumors and said they are all "amazing warriors" and told them they are not alone. "And with this, I let go of the pain," she ended her note.
