The third season will actually carry the subtitle Resurrection making its full title Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection.

The upcoming Code Geass Season 3 will be taking place a few years after the second season's finale. However, fans are wondering how producers might just pull it off. The reason for the confusion is that the main character Lelouch actually died in the finale, or at least, he appeared to have died in that episode.

One clue as to how they might explain away Lelouch's death may have something to do with the Code Geass Season 3 subtitle itself, which is Resurrection.
