'Alaskan Bush People' Season 8 Release Date, News & Update: Discovery Channel Reveals Brown Family Facing Another 'Severe Health Issues'
Alaskan Bush People Season 8 is now being surrounded by cancellation rumors after its season premiere has been pushed back. There are reports the Brown family's reality show is about to be released this May, but it looks like fans are not going to see them back to the small screen anytime soon.
There are reports Alaskan Bush People Season 8 will not be canceled as its release date will just be moved to a later date. In fact, Radar Online confirmed the new season will definitely air as soon possible as the Brown family is now busy filming.
A Discovery Channel's spokesperson also insisted that the rumors about Alaskan Bush People Season 8's cancellation are not true. "The rumors of the cancellation of Alaskan Bush People are totally fabricated and completely untrue," Executive Vice President of Public Relations for Discovery Laurie Goldberg said.
In fact, at the time Goldberg was speaking to the aforementioned publication, she revealed they are currently filming Alaskan Bush People Season 8. She also cited a number of reasons why the hit Discovery Channel series has been delayed. "First of all, this has been the longest winter in the region," she revealed.
The Brown family now moved to Washington for Alaskan Bush People Season 8's filming. And as their place is described to be "incredibly remote," the access to the area's roads has been closed because of the bad weather. In addition to that, the Brown family is now facing more "severe health issues."
This doesn't concern the Brown family matriarch, Ami Brown, but other members of the clan. Noah reportedly had "emergency gallbladder surgery," while Gabe has been nestling a flu-like sickness for a couple of weeks now. So, Goldberg feels like every possible reason that could hinder Alaskan Bush People Season 8's production is happening.
But in spite of that, they are all excited for Alaskan Bush People Season 8's return. In fact, Billy, Ami, and the rest of the children are showing enthusiasm to continue the Discovery Channel series' filming. Of course, the network also can't wait to unveil the upcoming season.
To recall, according to TV Insider, Discovery Channel revealed Alaskan Bush People Season 8 is set to be released on May 11. However, the network's latest schedule noted the show is not going to air either on the said date or month. So, it looks like fans still have to wait a little longer to see their favorite Brown family back on the small screen.
