'Alaskan Bush People' Theories & Predictions: Alaskan Residents Complaining About Brown Family, Fans Accuse Discovery Channel Show 'Fake'
Alaskan Bush People will be back on Discovery Channel for a new season, but it looks like fans are not buying it. The Brown family now returns to Omak, Washington, to start their reality series' filming, but there are reports their neighbors are not happy about it.
According to Radar Online, Omak residents are complaining about Alaskan Bush People's filming in their hometown. "Omak is a small conservative town," a local said. They even complained their city is no Hollywood and don't like seeing strangers lurking around their area. "We're old-school," they added.
The residents are complaining about the production crew Alaskan Bush People have that have been guarding the Brown family. They are not just sick of the Discovery Channel's reality series' filming, but they also asserted they can't continue having them around their town.
In fact, they revealed the Alaskan Bush People stars and their camera crew are not welcome in Omak. There was even an instance they were annoyed when they saw Rain and Gabe Brown in Walmart. They said they were pretending to be happy as they talked and laughed just like what they do on the show. "They seemed like they were trying to be happy," the insider said. For them, it seemed like something was bothering the siblings.
Hence, there are swirling rumors, and some fans strongly believe, the Alaskan Bush People's story is not real. When the show started on Discovery Channel in 2014, a lot of viewers thought they were really "bush people." But, as time goes by, they are starting to suspect the reality show is fake.
In Touch Weekly reported locals from Alaska revealed in 2016 that the Brown family never lived in the bush all the time. In fact, in between tapings, they were staying at a cushy lodge.
Also, for the new season of Alaskan Bush People, some people assumed the Brown family is not even getting back to Alaska for the show's production. If truth be told, some Facebook users tracked the Browns filming in Washington State.
To recall, when the Alaskan Bush People matriarch, Ami Brown, was diagnosed with lung cancer, the Brown family moved to a mansion in California for her chemotherapy. In fact, Rain would often share images on her Instagram account from their new surroundings. However, when her cancer had gone into remission, they started posting snaps from a snowy environment that could mean they are back in Alaska.
