'Dragon Ball Super' Latest News & Update: Series' Return Is Still A Possibility
Rumor has it that Dragon Ball Super will return in 2019. However, is this true?
The answer to this is no.
There have been no details or any confirmations about the anime's return so far. The movie in Japan is the only thing that is certain for now.
However, there are many fans that are hopeful that Super will return. In fact, some of them predict that it will considering the way it ended. There is a speculation that it will return in April next year to mark the 30th anniversary of the anime airing in Japan and it will also be the 10th anniversary of Dragon Ball Kai airing.
However, some think that a July airing is more likely considering that the very first episode of Super aired in July 2015.
A Sliver Of Hope From The Creator Himself
In other news, creator Akira Toriyama confirmed that the upcoming movie will be about the next arc of Dragon Ball Super once the Tournament of Power wraps.
"Now then, the animated version on TV will be ending for the time being," he said.
This clearly suggests that the return of the series will definitely return. The only problem is, they haven't confirmed any release date yet.
Toriyama also said that the manga will continue even after the show ends.

Also, it should be considered that the series has helped Toei Animation earn so much as the anime accumulated fans all over the world. With that being said, it doesn't look likely that they will end the series and just be done with it.
