'Alaskan Bush People' Bam Bam Visits Ami Brown After Being Cancer-Free
Alaskan Bush People fans are now celebrating as the family's matriarch, Ami Brown, is now in better shape. In fact, her son, Joshua "Bam Bam" Brown, visited his mother to check on her health.
According to Radar Online, Bam Bam got reunited with his Alaskan Bush People family in Washington. However, it looks like things are not yet okay between them as he opted to stay in a hotel instead of being with the rest of the clan at home.
A source even confirmed that Bam Bam has been staying at a hotel in Omak since March 10. "He's been a regular at the hotel for a while now," the insider said.
To recall, Bam Bam left his Alaskan Bush People family when he had a relationship with the Discovery's former producer, Allison Ragan, in 2017. It seemed like his girlfriend didn't even join him to visit Ami Brown. As a matter of fact, he admitted that she didn't go with him this time around.
Bam Bam appeared to just check on his mother after it was announced she has been cancer-free after battling the deadly disease. After the Alaskan Bush People family got the result of Ami Brown's scans on December 21, 2017, it had been revealed that the cancer cells that spread in her chest and back were gone.
"It was hard for it to sink in for all of us," Billy Brown told People. He was too surprised that he cannot seem to believe it. The patriarch admitted that no one expected to hear such good news.
Ami Brown's doctors told them that they couldn't find any sign of cancer in her body after the checkup. Billy Brown even recalled the time that the physician informed them that it would be a "total miracle from the Great Lord" if she would survive the illness in three or fourth months from when it was diagnosed.
Talking about the news to their family and the people that they were working with in Alaskan Bush People, Billy Brown said that it was actually funny that they cannot fit everyone in a room. A lot of crew were there to hear the good news as they are all family to them.
