Kim Joo Hyuk’s Girlfriend Lee Yoo Young Opens Up About How She Handled ‘Yourself and Yours’ Actor’s Sudden Death
Actress Lee Yoo Young finally revealed her feelings about the untimely death of her boyfriend, actor Kim Joo Hyuk. This is the first time Lee appeared in public and talked about what she went through after her boyfriend passed away.
Lee admitted that she still misses Kim, who died in a car crash last year. During a press meeting for her upcoming film, Marionette, the actress was asked about how she is holding up after Kim's death. The actress admitted that she spent most of the time alone at home when Kim died. Lee said she, however, knows that Kim would like her to be okay so she is trying to keep herself busy with work.
"I still miss him. He would always encourage me warmly, so I think he would like to see me doing well anywhere I go. With that in mind, I'm trying to focus on my career while holding onto that support he gave me," Lee emotionally replied after a long pause.
After Kim's death, Lee took a break from the spotlight. This is her first public appearance since Kim's funeral. The actor died from a severe head injury that he sustained from a fatal car accident on October 30, 2017. The autopsy report confirmed that he died from cranial fracture contrary to earlier reports that he had a heart attack that caused the car crash.
