‘John Wick 3’ Cast Include Hiroyuki Sanada, Movie Will Start Filming In April

After the tremendous success of John Wick 2 in 2017, the action film lovers are eagerly waiting to see Keanu Reeves back in John Wick 3. It was previously reported that the third sequel was already in production, and the latest updates now suggest that it is set to commence filming on April 26 this year.

John Wick 3 already has an official release date - May 17, 2019. Initially, the filming was about to start on March 1. If the filming starts in April according to the latest update, there is still a possibility that the release date will be postponed because wrapping up the entire process in just a year time is quite a difficult task.

The third installment will be filmed in various locations

The director Chad Stahelski along with screenwriter Derek Kolstad will be returning to the making of John Wick 3. As far as the filming locations are concerned, the movie will be filmed in various cities including New York and Montreal including undisclosed locations in Spain and Russia, as reported by Movieweb.

Many fans are disappointed as they know that the upcoming movie will be the final installment of the John Wick franchise. They will get a conclusion to the trilogy, and won't be able to see their favorite actor Reeves as the hero, John Wick.

It is true that the plot is still kept under wraps but rumors suggest that the third sequel is going to be most intense and fiery than the previous two movies, given the fact that the movie will close the franchise trilogy. However, the story is expected to start exactly from where it ended in the second sequel.

Some actors will reprise  their roles from the second sequel

Fans will be glad to know that the actors like Ruby Rose, Common, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick will be reprising their roles from John Wick 2 as Ares, Cassian, The Bowery King, Winston and Charon respectively, Screenrant revealed. Rush Hour 3 actor Hiroyuki Sanada is also hired to play for the movie but his name is yet to be revealed. It is said that he has been hired to play the role of an antagonist.

If everything falls in line, John Wick 3 will hit the big screens on May 17, 2019.
