iKON Update: 'Love Scenario' Singers Win At 'M! Countdown,' To Have Japan Dome Tour
M! Countdown is back and it recently featured the favorite South Korean groups on its Thursday, March 1, episode. iKON went head-to-head with MOMOLAND and the initial won the Mnet show's competition.
iKon's "Love Scenario" competed with MOMOLAND's "BBoom BBoom," and the initial has won the fight. The all-boys group's number one hit song got the first place with a score of 8,467 against the girls' 6,814 gain.
M! Countdown's Thursday episode featured different performances of the South Korea's favorite groups, All KPop reported. This included NCT U's Taeyong and TEN, performing "Baby Don't Stop." Sunggyu also made his triumphant return and performed "True Love."
I.C.E also made a comeback with "Shameless," while SF9 also returned by performing "Mamma Mia." Other performers who arrived at the show were Cheetah, singing "I'll Be There," CocoSori performing "Mi Amor," and Cosmic Girls" playing "Dreams Come True." Sha Sha was also launched to perform "You & Me."
Meanwhile, iKON is set to conquer the stage of Japan as the group will be on a dome tour for the second time around. YG Entertainment announced on Thursday that the group is set to start its tour in the said country in the second half of the year.
The "Love Scenario" singers will be very busy to perform a total of 10 concerts in four cities. On August 25 and 26, they will be performing in Fukuoka, while they will be in Nagoya on September 4 and 5. They, too, will be performing in Tokyo on November 6 and 7 and, lastly, in Osaka on December 22 and 23, Soompi reported.
Aside from the Japan dome tour, iKON is also set to release a new song on March 5. In fact, a promotional photo was revealed on Wednesday, February 28, teasing what is about to come. A couple of hands were seen holding a red tie while it is set in a striped dark and light blue background.
This will be the group's first release since their successful return in 2018 with the hit song, "Love Scenario." Their comeback track not only topped Korea's charts but also continued to be the number one song since it was released in January.
