'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Update: New Leak Reveals Dead Bodies At Winterfell
It looks like Game of Thrones Season 8 will be full of blood as a new leak revealed a pool of dead bodies. The eagle-eyed fans saw another scene in the continuation of the show's filming at Moneyglass, Northern Ireland and it once again involved the battle at Winterfell.
It is quite expected that there will be a big fight happening at the Stark's ancestral home. In fact, a great fire was seen emerging from the show's set recently, Winter is Coming reported.
Now, a Twitter user named GoTlike Location revealed on Sunday, February 25, a scene that seems to be the aftermath of the big fire. There are dead bodies around the snow-covered fields outside the castle of Winterfell.
Some of the corpses are said to be horses, although the Twitter user assured that there are no animals hurt in the filming of Game of Thrones Season 8. However, the photo that captured everyone's attention the most is the figures of what-seems-to-be four men standing around a human dead body.
It looks like these guys are the mourning the death of their fallen comrade. Anyhow, it is not yet sure if they are real soldiers, white walkers, or just extras, staff, or crew checking the set. It is also a big question who attacks the Winterfell in Game of Thrones Season 8.
Meanwhile, there is a new Game of Thrones set seen at the Magheramorne Quarry, according to Daily Express. This place was said to be the previous home of Castle Black. But, it seems like it will be put to a new use as a large box with a green screen is seen emerging near the Night Watch's house.
With that, there are assumptions that this will be used for the Night King's (Vladimir Furdik) sequence as he continues to invade Westeros in Game of Thrones Season 8.
In other news, in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Maisie Williams, who plays the role of Arya, revealed her sentiments about HBO's plan to film multiple Game of Thrones Season 8 ending. "I heard this and I thought, 'I don't think we have the budget to shoot multiple endings'," she revealed.
For the 20-year-old star, it is too expensive to produce a number of finale episodes just to avoid some leaks and spoilers.
Game of Thrones Season 8 is set to be released in 2019 on HBO.
