Big Bang Update: G-Dragon Waves Fans Goodbye As He Enters Military
Big Bang's G-Dragon is now enlisted. In spite of the 29-year-old star's intent to enter the military peacefully, some fans still made their way to bid their goodbyes as he goes to the training center.
The South Korean rapper joined the 3rd Infantry Division or "White Skull" of the Recruit Training Center. It is located in Gangwon-do.
There was no special event made for his enlistment as he just waved goodbye to his fans. G-Dragon's supporters were seen behind the barriers as he made his way to the military service. They, too, were screaming as he walked donning a face mask and jacket.
The Big Bang member has been enlisted as part of South Korea's mandatory military service. He will be in training for five weeks and will return from the army on November 26, 2019, Metro reported.
Meanwhile, a lucky Big Bang fan revealed that he is enlisted in the same infantry division, the 3rd Infantry Division or "White Skull," like G-Dragon. Thus, he can't help but tell the world about his luck, according to All KPop.
The fanboy stated that he was devastated when he first he got that notification message that he will be enlisted. "Then I saw the news that G-Dragon was enlisting in the 'White Skull' division," he said. When he learned that the Big Bang member is about to enter the military service, he searched the internet and found out that the will be in the same infantry division just like his idol.
He then got excited to serve the military as he will be with G-Dragon. He even bragged that the time that the Big Bang member is out of the spotlight, is the same time that he will be taking a break from his fanboying. There might also be a chance that they could be together in the "White Skull."
As he wrote the post, he said that he is nervous about being in the military. So, he just recalled the time that he started being a Big Bang fan. He was the group's supporter since he was an elementary student. In fact, he is an official fan club member.
He didn't even let one Big Bang concert surpassed without his presence since he turned 20-years-old. He even went to the group's every show. "I enlist with the 'Last Dance' concert as my last concert..." he also added.
