BTS Update: Snippet of J-Hope's Mixtape Revealed
After being in a big controversy, involving the producer Marz, BTS has good news for their fans. J-Hope's mixtape has now a release date and the group revealed a quick video teaser for the supporters on their Twitter page.
J-Hope has been hard at work to finish his mixtape, in spite of the BTS' vacation. Now, his hard work will come to fruition as it is set to be released in just a couple of days.
Fans went crazy when they heard a snippet of J-Hope's mixtape on their Twitter page. In fact, as of this writing, it has gathered 319,669 retweets and 690,265 likes. Some fans even commented that they are all excited and cannot wait for its release.
In the clip, Big Hit Entertainment's team is seen spinning the cp, mixing J-Hope's tape. As the camera panned across the room, the DJ can be seen doing the live mix of the song, while the BTS member's voice can be heard in the EDM-esque beats.
This seemed similar to a feature song that fans have heard accidentally earlier this February. This was when a Big Hit Entertainment recording engineer shared a video on Snapchat that said to be housing J-Hope's mixtape.
The clip was taken down quickly, but quick BTS fans managed to save the video. According to Comic Book, when the two snippet songs were played, it would come out that it has the same tempo and timbre of J-Hope's voice.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that BTS gave a glimpse of J-Hope's mixtape. To recall, last week, the group also shared a clip of a producer working on another track for the new album. Although the song's snippet only ran for a little while, it teased the 24-year-old singer's vocals and the hymn's funky tempo.
J-Hope's mixtape is set to be released on March 2. It has been two years since BTS has dropped a mixtape, and a year since the group is teasing its release, Billboard cited. The army is calling the album as Hixtape, which also happens to be the boys' third rapper and lead dancer's very first LP.
