'Shadowhunters' Season 3 Update: Lilith Will Revive Jonathan To Join Forces Against Clary And Jace

Freeform recently revealed a new clip for Shadowhunters Season 3 and it teases a very dark episode, involving the mother of all warlocks, Lilith (Anna Hopkins). The Greater Demon has another evil plan that will surely shock all the viewers.

It seems like Lilith is determined to bring Sebastian or Jonathan (Will Tudor) back to life. "No one will stop me from bringing my boy back," she said in the teaser. With the firmness of his voice, it looks like no one can stop the first of all demons to revive the shadowhunter.

With that, the rest of the shadowhunters will be facing a new kind of evil as Lilith and Jonathan join forces in Shadowhunters Season 3. They, too, will be seen dealing with their own problems, starting with Magnus (Harry Shum Jr.) and Alec (Matthew Daddario), TV Guide reported.

The two will try their best to solve the issues of their relationship after Valentine's (Alan Van Sprang) death. They will only have each other's side to lean on as their bond will be more tested this season.

Of course, there will be more scenes between Clary (Katherine McNamara) and Jace (Dominic Sherwood) in Shadowhunters Season 3. As Lilith is laying an evil plan against Clary and the rest of the group, the couple's relationship is going to face what would be their "greatest obstacle" so far.

To recall, Jace died when he thought that he was Clary's brother all the while in the final episode of the previous season, TV Line reported. "I've never felt about anyone the way I feel about you," Jace told Clary in the teaser.

However, he even warned her that he has no intention to ruin what they have. Jace might be pertaining to their being shadowhunters and the things they have to face and fight together. The magical resurrection might be taking its toll on him that Clary is starting to doubt about his real condition.

But, fans will be treated to some steamy hot scenes of the couple in Shadowhunters Season 3. They just have to be more inquisitive if it is real or not.

Shadowhunters Season 3 will return on Tuesday, March 20, on Freeform at 8 pm.
