Big Bang Update: G-Dragon, Seungri To Open Their Own Bars
It looks like Big Bang members are now venturing into a new kind of business by opening their own cafes. In fact, Seungri is about to open his new club, while G-Dragon is also set to kick off his new coffee shop on Jeju Island.
Before his official enlistment, G-Dragon is going open his GD Café on Sunday, February 25. He will be enlisted for his mandatory military service on Tuesday, February 27, All Kpop reported.
The Big Bang member was personally involved in designing the bar from its exterior and interior designs to its concept. Also, he even put a touch of his personal self in the place by drawing his own artwork on the walls.
He even made some of his personal items as decorations. GD Café also has its own bowling alley, which is set to open in March. G-Dragon has been on a hiatus after Big Bang's concert at Gocheok SkyDome. He reportedly went to Jeju Island to visit his bar and do some final touches.
On the other hand, Seungri is also set to open his own new club called Burning Sun soon. The 27-year-old star hasn't given a definite date yet when his bar will be opened to the public.
"Club 'Burning Sun' was set up with long-time colleagues of mine at Monkey Museum," he told Below. He also revealed that they wanted a big venue for the place, thus they ended up building it at the said museum.
The Big Bang member also added that Burning Sun was ready for his staff. When asked about the DJs performing at the club, he said that they will be from NHR and DCTOM. They will also invite some DJs internationally to perform.
Meanwhile, Seungri also talked about his new EDM project. The 27-year-old singer revealed that he is now very busy working on his solo album directed by Yang Hyun Suk.
The Big Bang member described his new album as composed of dance music and he is even planning to work with famous DJs around the world. He also said that upbeat music invigorates him compared to sad songs.
