Power Season 5 will definitely push through as Starz's crisis with Altice USA is now solved. The network finally got a deal with the television provider after the home channel was dropped by Optimum.

Starz and Altice USA now have a multi-year carriage agreement. This includes showing all the shows on Starz, Starz Encore premium linear and HD channels. On-demand and the online streaming services on Optimum and Suddenlink cable are also part of the deal.

The two networks' agreement will also allow Altice to market Starz's application to its clients, which has been the big issue between the two companies. The settlement will also benefit Power Season 5's home network as its packaging position will be secured.

"Our goal is to give customers the flexibility, choice, and entertainment they want at a great value," co-president and COO of Altice USA Hakim Boubazine said, via Digital Spy. He was also grateful for the network's patience while they were still working on a deal that would serve their best interest.

Starz COO Jeffrey Hirsch, on the other hand, revealed that Starz is happy to know that both parts now have a "mutually beneficial way" to make their working relationship grow together in the coming years. Also, part of their plan is giving the best television content to the Altice USA subscribers.

To recall, 50 Cent, who plays the role of Kanan, earlier revealed that the show has been taken off the air in New York because of Starz and Optimum's dispute, Capital Xtra reported. However, the stars continue to film for Power Season 5.

In fact, Omari Hardwick, who portrays Ghost, shared a photo of their official seats on the set of Power Season 5 on his Instagram account. "Now you see us... even when you don't," he captioned the snap.

50 Cent also dropped a major teaser involving Ghost's son, Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr). Real name Curtis James Jackson III, he posted a picture of his on-screen character showing Tariq inside the back of his car, tied up and seems unconscious.

It looks like Kanan will be getting back to Ghost as he wants his corner back again in Power Season 5. Starz has yet to reveal the show's official release, but it will surely come back this 2018.
