Goku and Kefla take their fight to the next level as Goku goes into his Ultra Instinct form once more.

Episode 116 of "Dragon Ball Super" kicked off with a recap of Goku and Caulifla's fight from the previously aired episode. Goku resorts to using Ultra Instinct one more time against Super Saiyan Kefla. The duo continues to power up against each other going toe-to-toe in their ferociously powerful forms this week.

According to a report by IGN, episode 116 did not utilize its time well; however, it offered "DBS" fans a visually stunning spectacle. This week's battle nearly surpasses all others due to an exceptional selection of color and animation. On top of that, the hype built around Kefla this week made her character even more enticing.

The most interesting part of the episode is the battle between the incredibly energetic Kefla and the calm and composed Goku. Legendary Super Saiyan Kefla is powerful and brimming with energy. In this episode, Kefla used all the aces she had up her sleeve.

Goku, on the other hand, wasn't a sitting duck either. His Ultra Instinct form lets him move very quickly and get out of harm's way in a jiffy. The notable contrast between Kefla and Goku made the fight worth watching. The energy unleashed by Goku and Kefla sent some warriors flying. The power-up is so fierce that it interrupts Vegeta and Toppo's battle and hinders Gohan and Piccolo's fight with Universe 6 Namekians, Fansided reported.

The aforesaid episode of "Dragon Ball Super" focused on Ultra Instinct while indicating there's more to come in near future. While the hit Japanese anime has witnessed several transformations and power-ups over the years, the report deems Ultra Instinct as the most dominant power-up since the debut of "Dragon Ball Z." This is unlike any other Super Saiyan power up and makes Goku feel like a wholly different character.

Vegeta bumps into more details about Ultra Instinct and figures out how all this link back to their training with Beerus' attendant, Whis. This is a good move as it sets the stage for a potential arc for Vegeta just when the Tournament of Power is drawing close to its conclusion.

Zen-Oh ensured this episode does not end up feeling too intense by providing the much-needed humor. His reactions and comments regarding the events were hilarious but did not deviate "DBS" fans' attention from the impending battle.

It was imperative for episode 116 to nail one thing, and much to the delight of Dragon Ball Super's huge fanbase, it did it well. The showdown between Kefla and Goku was visually stunning, as unique animation propelled their battle straight into the highest level of Dragon Ball battles. The episode also shed more light on Ultra Instinct, divulging details about its origin, and what's in store for it.
