Carvana, an online used-car dealer based in Phoenix, unveiled on Friday at Nashville, Tennessee the world's first, fully automated, custom coin-operated car vending machine, reported ABC News on Friday.

"We are delighted to launch the world's first robotic Vending Machine for cars," said Ernie Garcia, Caravana's founder and CEO. "Carvana created the original car Vending Machine concept in Atlanta in 2013, and we've spent the last two years taking this experience to a whole new level. Our new Vending Machine is a state-of-the-art, multi-story structure that delivers our customers' cars by merely inserting a custom coin," he added.

Carvana's car vending machine is a five-story glass tower that is capable of storing up to 20 cars, equipped with a "welcome center" and an automated delivery system that releases cars in three delivery bays.

Fortune explained in their article on Thursday how the car vending machine works. After a client has purchased a vehicle on Carvana's online shop, they can go straight to the vending machine in Tennessee where they can select their name from a booth inside the glass tower. A Caravan-branded custom coin is then given to them, which they insert in the machine to have their purchased vehicles delivered to them at the delivery bay.

Customers are given a seven-day test ownership period, along with a 100-day or 4,189 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Carvana even threw in a "no questions asked" return policy.

The company's clients who reside in Tennessee can pick up their vehicles from the car vending machine for free, while those who do not live in the area will be subsidized with $200 in airfare with white glove transportation from the Nashville airport by Carvana.

"Carvana's mission is to create a better way to buy a car, and this new Vending Machine will be a one-of-a-kind experience that mirrors just how simple and easy we've made it to buy a car online," said Garcia.

Carvana plans to establish more car vending machine outlets in the future.
