At the press conference for tvN's "Livin' the Double Life" on November 22, CL became emotional as she confessed her true feelings regarding 2NE1's disbandment. The performer shared she cried when she came to Los Angeles.

"I don't cry much, but I cried when I came to LA," CL shared. She also revealed that she experienced an emotional change and that it was a good time for her.

Former 2NE1 member, CL, talked more about the YG Entertainment group's disbandment during the filming of tvN's reality show. According to All Kpop, CL wanted to stick with the group until the end. Tears welled up to the singer slash actress' eyes as she shared how difficult the situation is on her end.

"It was difficult from my perspective. I only realized recently how hard it was," CL added, "I wanted to be a part of it until the end, and I wanted to be responsible [for 2NE1]."

Fans gave sad reactions as they reminisce the break up of the queens of Kpop after 7 years of reigning. Members of 2NE1, Dara, CL, Bom, and Minzy, walked in different paths as they explore different ventures.

2NE1's last single, "Goodbye", was dropped in January 2017 as a farewell track for their fans. The song was inspired by CL's letter to Minzy and it landed on the top spot of Billboard World Digital Songs.

Billboard magazine ranked 2NE1 as one of the best K-pop girl groups of the past decade. The legacy left by 2NE1 and how they grew apart will be remembered by their fans in many different ways, and CL will always carry the pride brought about by the ultimate female group.

South Korean Stars CL, Taeyang, and Oh Hyuk will appear on tvN's upcoming variety show, "Livin' the Double Life". The program will premiere on November 23 at 10:50 PM KST.
