Red Velvet Conquers With Over 100,000 Pre-Orders For Latest Album 'Perfect Velvet'

Red Velvet's latest album, "Perfect Velvet", is propelling to the top with over 100,000 pre-orders. The album was dropped on November 17 and its title track, "Peek-A-Boo", is taking over the top of the music charts.

According to Soompi, Red Velvet crossed the 101,414 stock pre-orders for their sought-after album, "Perfect Velvet". Nine thrilling songs of various beats and tunes are on the album. Moreover, the quality of the music was ensured with the help of famous Korean producers such as Deez, Kenzie, Hitchhiker, and The Stereotypes.

Red Velvet continues to conquer as they focus on showcasing their album with scheduled television appearances. The group is invited on MBC Music's "Show Champion" on November 22 and MBC's "Music Core" on November 25. They are also on SBS's "Inkigayo" on November 26.

In a report by Billboard, Red Velvet confessed that they're stirring and spicing things up to introduce a new mysterious and charming image. The group shared, "I feel like people will be more curious about it because it's mysterious and charming all at the same time."

Since Red Velvet's official debut on August 1, 2014, and Yeri's entrance to the group in March 2015, the girl group encountered waves of success and recognition. They have actively participated in three "SM Town Live World Tour" and headlined their first solo concert last August 18-20.

Red Velvet received a variety of awards and nominations including this year's "Ceci Asia Icon Award" from "Golden Disc Awards". They are also the recipient of "Bonsang Award" and "Hallyu Icon Award" from "Soribada Best K-Music Awards 2017".

This year is getting better and better for the girls of Red Velvet. Talking about "Perfect Velvet", member Wendy mentioned before, "I think that it's a good timing. I think it's good to end perfectly at the end of the year."
