NU’EST W Achieves Gaon Triple Crown, 2nd Music Show Win

Boy band NU'EST W has achieved something remarkable in this comeback. The group has taken the Triple Crown on the Gaon Music Charts, with the album "W,HERE" and the title track "Where You At" claiming the number one positions on the digital sales, physical album sales and download charts. In addition, NU'EST W has just gotten its second music win on an episode of "Music Bank."

One Hallyu reports that "Where You At" sits at the top of the Gaon Music Download Chart with 136,982 digital download sales as of October 14. "Where You At" also tops the Digital Singles Chart, which records both downloads and streaming. Gaon shows that it sits above SECHSKIES' "Something Special" (at No. 2), Bolbbalgan4's "Some" (No. 3), Bolbbalgan4's "To My Youth," (No.4) and BTS's "DNA" (No. 5).

NU'EST W mini album "W,HERE" has made it to the top of the Album Chart. For the week of October 8 to 14, 2017, NU'EST W's "W,HERE" beats out GOT7's "7 For 7" (at No. 2), IU's "A Flower Bookmark 2" (No. 3), SECHSKIES' "Another Light" (No. 4) and BTS's "Love Yourself: Her" (No. 5).

The group has been enjoying their increased popularity of late. Soompi reports that the NU'EST W members Baekho and JR did a guest spot on KBS2's "Happy Together" where they talked about feeling the fans' attention. "At our last fan meeting, 50 to 70 fans attended. But recently, we had a fan meeting with 5,000 seats for two days and they were all sold out in three minutes."

The love extends to the group's success on music programs. On October 19, NU'EST W got their first-ever music show win on Mnet's "M! Countdown" with "Where You At."

The very next day, NU'EST W appeared on KBS2's "Music Bank" and performed the same track. They achieved their second music show win.
