The "While You Were Sleeping" behind-the-scenes footage starts with the scenario where Suzy (portraying the role of Hong Joo) is looking for Lee Jong Suk (playing the character Jae Chan). She can be seen peeking into the windows of a café. Then, Lee Jong Suk walks near her from behind, "What are you looking for?", he asks, surprising her. Afterwards, Suzy lovingly looks at him, making puppy eyes and tilting her head. After the director shouts, "Cut!", the two, along with the staff, laugh at the cute scene. Shifting to an outdoor scene with a freezing weather, the behind-the-scenes clip shows how Lee Jong Suk and Suzy making repeated line mistakes. When it's Suzy's turn to forget her lines, Lee Jong Suk suddenly jokes, "You're under Lee Jong Suk's curse". He also tells her, "Leave me, I'm already a lost cause," making Suzy burst out laughing. This is the first time the SBS drama's rating went over one digit and makes it the most watched on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Their counterparts like KBS' "Mad Dog" recorded 6.9 percent, while MBC's "Hospital Ship had 8.5 percent.
Furthermore, Viki said that "While You Were Sleeping" is a drama series directed by Oh Choong Hwan and written by Park Hye Ryun, who is also known for his previous works such as "Dream High" (2011), "I Hear Your Voice" (2013), and "Pinocchio" (2014).
