‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' Season 3 Episode 2 Spoilers: Rebecca And Nathaniel Get Closer
On Friday, in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" season 3 episode 2, Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) will forge an alliance with a most unlikely accomplice - Nathaniel (Scott Michael Foster) to hopefully bring down her ex-boyfriend, Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III). The cat-and-dog banter between Rebecca and Nathaniel was teased in the episode's trailer. Meanwhile, actor Foster hinted about his character's plot line for the whole of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" season 3.
It would be recalled that during episode 1 of the "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" season 3, titled, "Josh's Ex-Girlfriend Wants Revenge," Rebecca solicited advice from her friends about an effective payback plan against Josh. She, however, did not listen to them and instead went on with her plan - shoot a fake sex tape with a man that looks like Josh. She did this in order to ruin her ex's plan of pursuing priesthood. Paula found this tactic ridiculous and instead came up with a more achievable plan - to sue Josh. Rebecca agreed to this - that is, after sending Josh poop cupcakes.
For Friday's "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" season 3 episode 2, Rebecca is quite unsatisfied with Paula's ideas to build a case against Josh. She turns to Nathaniel for help and together they come up with this evil plan against Josh. Unknown to Rebecca, however, Josh is somewhat realizing the difficulty of becoming a priest. Could he be having second thoughts?
The "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" season 3 episode 2 will also star Pete Gardner, David Hull, Vella Lovell and Gabrielle Ruiz. The episode, titled "To Josh, With Love," is written by Rachel Specter and Audrey Wauchope. It is directed by Kabir Akhtar.
Meanwhile, actor Foster said that viewers will see more of Nathaniel's' growth in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" season 3. While he will continue to be this perfectionist lawyer that fans of the show have known, season 3 will have Nathaniel explore his good side, thanks to Rebecca. "So you start to see Nathaniel exploring being a nice person and Rebecca brings it out to him, so that creates sort of a draw for them. So you'll see a lot more of them together for sure," Foster told Entertainment Weekly.
