Former Girls' Generation Member Sooyoung Allegedly in Talks With New Agency

Choi Sooyoung is reportedly meeting up with her new agency. The former Girl's Generation member allegedly plans to sign a contract with Echo Global Group, which houses Soo Hyun (Claudia Kim), Daniel Henney, and more.

An industry source even confirmed this and said that Sooyoung is on friendly terms with the label and their discussions seemed to be leaning to a positive result. According to All K-Pop, a source from Echo Global Group confirmed the news and said, "It's true that we have talked with Sooyoung, but we have not signed anything yet." Since both parties are in a sensitive situation, they are carefully weighing the possibilities. In addition, many are curious to see if joining the agency will help her promote overseas as an actress, given the careers of those signed under Echo Global Group.

Meanwhile, Sooyoung, along with Tiffany and Seohyun, recently left the Girls' Generation girl group after deciding not to re-sign their contracts with their former company, SM Entertainment. The three girls expressed their desire to pursue personal endeavors. Both Sooyoung and Seohyun will focus on acting, while California-born-and-raised Tiffany will continue her studies in the States.
