Suzy Bae Wows Audience With Sexy Dance Performance on 'Party People'
On the recent episode of "JYP's Party People", Suzy Bae appeared on the show as a guest and wowed the audience with her sexy dance performance of Bishop Briggs' "River" and Kendrick Lamar's "Humble". The K-Pop star also shared the reason why he chose to renew her contract with JYP Entertainment and delivered other amazing performances.
The SBS show featured the "While You Were Sleeping" actress' rendition of Yoong Jong Shin's hit track "Like It". Not only did she altered the lyrics to a female's point of view, she also effortlessly nailed the song with her angelic voice and overflowing emotions. All K-Pop said Suzy sang Tamia's "Me", which carried meaningful memories for her. She revealed that "Me" was the first song she was complimented on when she was still a trainee. Park Jin Young can be seen proudly smiling while Suzy performed the song.
In addition, Suzy showed that she's not only good at singing, but also in dancing. After a change of outfit, she danced to Bishop Briggs' "River" and Kendrick Lamar's "Humble".
Additionally, the K-Pop idol sang "Pretend", which is one of the tracks from her first solo album. Before performing, she shared that it is a song that many can relate to. "Pretend" narrates the story of people who pretend to be happy and fine despite that they are worried and lonely inside.
During the show, J.Y. Park also revealed that he did not call Suzy during the renewal decision for four months so that it would not pressure and burden her. On the other hand, Suzy shared the reason why he renewed her contract with the agency. "I was debating between working with the same people whom I've been with all this time versus going to a new place and starting a new challenge for myself," she said. "In the end, I decided to renew my contract with the company that has raised me up until now."
Meanwhile, Soompi said that Suzy's episode on "Party People" recorded viewership ratings of 3.8 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area, breaking the show's previous record of 3.5 percent. Director Park Kyung Duk said that Suzy's great singing skills, rich vocal color, and sexy dance performances received an incredible response.
