EXO’s D.O. Shaves His Head for New Role

The latest look of EXO member D.O is circulating online. Many are wondering if the idol will be enlisting in the military soon because he recently shaved his head. It turns out that his new hairstyle is for his new movie role.

The K-Pop star is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie titled "Swing Kids". D.O is portraying the role of a North Korean soldier, which led him to cut his hair. His decision also comes with the desire to give justice to his character. According to All K-Pop, photos of his new hair were first posted on Instagram.

Set during the Korean War, the movie shows the Geoje Prison, which kept North Korean prisoners. "Swing Kids" follows the current trend of Korean movies that involve rebellion, war and the like. A famous example is a recent film titled "Taxi Driver".

The fans are expecting a lot for D.O's next movie; they presume that his performance will be outstanding. Additionally, the EXO-Ls (EXO's fandom name) hope that the movie will perform great when released. Although fans would miss his beautiful hair, they promise to wait for the movie and watch it as well.

Meanwhile, his group EXO recently had their comeback and released a repackaged album of the group's fourth studio album "The War" that dropped in July. Named as "THE WAR: The Power of Music", the album included two new tracks plus the nine original tracks in "The War".

According to Soompi, the idol group unveiled their teaser on August 30 and presented a more detailed look at the album's overall concept. EXO released three teasers namely "POWER #RF_05", "Total Eclipse", and "Parallel Universe". On September 1, the group dropped the individual teasers of Xiumin and Chen, while Chanyeol and Baekhyun's were revealed the next day.
