VIXX Leo Joins N as Torchbearers in 2018 Winter Olympics

VIXX Leo is tapped to join the 2018 Winter Olympics. Not as an athlete, though. Rather, as one of the many torchbearers in the coming sports competition.

On Sunday, VIXX Leo took to his Instagram account to announce an exciting news for his fans. In his post, he shared a photo of him holding a bottle of an energy drink. In the caption, he revealed that he will be joining the Winter Olympics in 2018.

He said that he was chosen to be one of the torchbearers in the coming sports competition. VIXX Leo also assured his fans that he will do his best in running with Powerade. But Leo is not the only VIXX member who was chosen by the Olympic committee to be one of the torchbearers.

Back in September, N also announced that he was tapped to join the Winter Olympics next year. Like VIXX Leo, N announced via Instagram that he will also run with Powerade, as per Soompi. He promised to do his best as one of the torchbearers as well.

VIXX Leo and N are just two of the 7,500 torchbearers. The torch will also be carried by other K-pop idols. 2AM member Jeong Jinwoon is also said to be carrying the torch.

Rapper Sean from the South Korean duo, Jinusean, was tapped to be one of the torchbearers as well. On top of that, VIXX Leo will also join South Korean athletes who are also set to carry the torch. Soccer players Cha Du Ri and Cha Bum Kun are in too.

2018 Winter Olympics also tapped Lee Bong Ju, who is a famous marathon runner. VIXX Leo will also join Cho Sae Hon, who is a photographer, in carrying the torch for the sports competition. The PyeongChang Winter Olympics is set to start in February next year.
