'Age of Youth 2': Ryu Hwa Young Returns To Belle Epoque; Yoon Park Set To Cameo Too

Someone made a successful return to Belle Epoque in "Age of Youth 2." In an episode of the drama, Ryu Hwa Young made a surprise cameo order to help the girls go through some personal issues. 

In "Age of Youth," Ryu played the role of Kang Yi Na, a 24-year-old girl who lived with four other girls in Belle Epoque. The drama aired in 2016 on JTBC. 

But on Sept. 23, she returned to Belle Epoque for a very important mission. Soompi reports that the character appeared just as Jung Ye Eun (Han Seung Yeon) was having a personal crisis. 

Yi Na has always been overprotective of Ye Eun with whom she often had conflicts with. However, the scene proves how deeply she cares about her friend. Despite the entire house siding with Han You Kyung (Han Eun Sul), Yi Na stood up for Ye Eun and is even ready to storm to You Kyung's home for a fight. 

Ryu received a warm welcome from fans of "Age of Youth 2." In fact, the episode that aired on Sept. 23 was the most-watched ever since the sequel premiered. 

From the data collected by Nielsen Korea (via Kdrama Pal), last week's episode surpassed the 3% mark and recorded 3.145% rating nationwide. In comparison, the previous episode that aired on Sept. 22 was only at 2.772%. 

After Ryu's return, there is still one more important cameo that fans should anticipate in "Age of Youth 2." Yoon Park, the actor who played the role of Park Jae Wan in "Age of Youth," has already filmed his scenes! 

"Age of Youth 2" airs every Friday and Saturday at 23:00 on JTBC. It also stars Han Ye Ri, Park Eun-Bin, Ji Woo, Choi A Ra, Kim Min Suk, An Woo Yeon, Seon Seung Won and Shin Hyun Soo.
