Arrow Season 6 Episode 1

There are only two more weeks before "Arrow" Season 6 premieres on The CW. Ahead of the series' return to television, the network has released the synopsis for Episode 1 titled "Fallout" and it warns about the return of enemies from Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) past.

The new season will pick up shortly after the events of the Season 5 finale: Oliver is a father to William and his crime-fighting team back together. However, once again, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), John Diggle (David Ramsey), Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), Thea Queen (Willa Holland) are threatened by the reappearance of villains who still have some beef to settle with the Green Arrow.

"In Season 6, Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past, including Black Siren, return to Star City forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his 'family," the synopsis read (via Flickering Myth). " With the team left hanging in the balance, the focus shifts to the fates of every member of Team Arrow."

"Arrow" Season 6 Episode 1 is also titled "Fallout" because Oliver has to deal with the fallout from the explosion on the island. In a previous interview with EW, executive producer Wendy Mericle shared that the upcoming season will deal with the repercussions of that explosion. Furthermore, she also hinted that there is going to be more fallout as the narrative moves forward.

Because it was a big event, it is going to change not just its lead character Oliver, but also his team. Mericle stated that, while Green Arrow is still at the center of the series, the other characters will have a chance at the spotlight as they tell their own stories.

"Arrow" Season 6 Episode 1 will air on Oct, 12 on The CW. Watch the trailer below.
