Lee Dong Wook recently opened up about his life after the series "Goblin". It seems as though things are not doing very well for him. The "Goblin"s Grim Reaper shared he got depressed.

The South Korean fantasy series "Goblin" was a hit. It did not only became popular in South Korea but in other parts of the world as well. With that, Lee Dong Wook also became known as the handsome Grim Reaper and stole the hearts of many fans.

Many fans were heartbroken at the end of the show. And, it looks like Lee Dong Wook got emotional too as the "Goblin" wraps up. He also said that he lost his self-confidence after the show.

Lee Dong Wook recently sat with High Cut magazine to reveal some glimpses of his life, as per Koreaboo. There, he opened up about his life after "Goblin". He also shared why he did not take other fantasy roles after his Grim Reaper character.

Lee Dong Wook revealed that he felt it hard to move on from the impression that "Goblin" made. "I was getting a lot of attention and interest and love from the public and then it disappeared," he added. He also said that after the show, he began to ponder on his future projects. The 35-year-old actor also said that he has been receiving a lot of offers for a fantasy drama series.

Even so, he said he declined from them. "I feel like if I act out similar images and character, then I feel like I'm burying myself," Lee Dong Wook added. It seems as though the "Goblin" star got afraid that he might not meet the expectations of his fans if he accepts a new role after his Grim Reaper character. For now, he said he will be entertaining projects that will give him a more realistic character.
