Yook Sung Jae has only been acting for a couple of years, but he has already achieved fame in and outside South Korea thanks to his breakout role in "Goblin: The Lonely and Great God." After playing the role of Duk Hwa, a rich spoiled heir that eventually turn out to be the human vessel of god, Yook is ready to unleash his evil side as a villain in another project.

It has been a couple of months since "Goblin: Goblin: The Lonely and Great God," starring Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun, has aired on television, but Yook still has not found his next big acting project. In a new interview, the 22-year-old revealed what he wanted to do next.

"I want to show a different side of me and the characters I've played thus far," he told The Straits Time. "Something more heavy, substantial and serious."

The actor has not had a lot of experience acting, but he has appeared in a few television dramas. His first role was Sung Joon in tvN's "Reply 1994."

However, albeit a rookie, he also shared that he did not feel awkward around more experienced actors on the set of "Goblin: The Lonely and Great God." He recounted that both Gong and Lee Dong Wook have treated him as a brother.

In fact, the banter did not end when the cameras stopped rolling. Yook revealed that they talked a lot about their common interest in cars,

Meanwhile, in a separate interview with Nylon Korea (via Soompi), the young actor/performer also revealed where he sees himself in ten years. In the coming years, he said that what he wants to keep doing is to pursue his dream.

Whether it be starring on his own hit drama or as a member of BTOB, Yook wants to be the kind of person who thinks that he can achieve everything he sets his mind to. "I want to be the kind of person who can enjoy the process of advancing towards my dream," he added.
