Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki met and fell in love while filming the global hit drama, "Descendants of the Sun." However, did the onscreen love story of Doctor Kang Mo Yeon and Captain Yoo Shi Jin helped the two actors, dubbed "Song-Song couple" by their fans, realize their true feelings for each other?

At a recent panel, screenwriter, Kim Eun Sook, was asked about the real-life romance between the stars of the hit television show. While she cannot exactly tell if the romantic dialogue on the show helped nudge the actors toward each other, she did divulge why Song Hye Kyo fell in love with Song Joong Ki.

"Shouldn't that be a question for Song Hye Kyo," the screenwriter responded when an audience asked her about the influence of her story to the real-life romance between the actors. "I'm not really sure, but she did mention something about that once. Yoo Si Jin changed Song Joong Ki."

Kim Eun Sook attended the panel, "The Best Meets The Best. Goblin vs. Signal," at Seoul's KOCCA this week, reported All KPop. She was there with fellow screenwriter Kim Eun Ha.

The "Descendants of the Sun" screenwriter continued that, when they started filming, Song Joong Ki was a quintessential male. However, after playing the role of Captain Yoo Shi Jin, the actor eventually emulated some of the good traits of his onscreen character.

"I think a drop of sweetness has been added to that," Kim Eun Sook shared. "They are both so lovely. They just can't get enough of each other. They're madly in love. I would like to congratulate them again."

Congratulations are, indeed, in order. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have announced their engagement earlier this year and are set to be married at the Shilla Hotel on Oct. 31, Primadonne previously reported.

According to Soompi, Shilla Hotel was also a venue for many other high profile weddings in South Korea. Among the celebrities who tied the knot in the luxurious hotel are Jang Don Gun and Ko So Young, Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young, Jun Ji Hyun and Choi Jun Hyuk, Hwang Jung Eum and Lee Young Don, and Moon Hee Jun and Soyul.

According to rumors, Song Hye Kyo and Song Jong Ki are currently holding their pre-wedding photo shoots in the U.S. The two were spotted LAX earlier this month.
